Training this month has focused on rope handling and technical rescue skills. This essential training builds confidence in our newer members and refreshes the knowledge of our more experienced members when in more technichal rescue environments.
Our training session was led by rope rescue instructor, Watch Commander Davy Luti, of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Rope Rescue Unit.
Davy, who is also a member of the team, used his knowledge to enable us to gain skills in different scenarios and focused our learning on them.
Thanks to Stirling Fire Station for the use of their training facilities, which allowed us to utilise their tower during the session.
And a special shout-out to Mhor 84 Motel for the delicious pies! 🥧😋 we had during our lunch break.
