Rescue 32 of 2023: Ben Vorlich.
And it seems the quiet spell is over as the team was called out by Police Scotland Forth Valley to the 3rd rescue in 10 days for a missing person lost in the area. Thankfully, we were able to locate the casualty using local knowledge from team members who work and live close by.

Consequently, one of our members, who happens to be the local estate manager, was able to use his Argocat ATV to assist in getting the team and kit to the casualty much faster.

Thankfully, the casualty was OK, and we were able to assist them back to base.

A quick reminder for anyone out in the hills this weekend temperatures are expected to be high. So make sure you pack plenty of fluids, sun hat, sunscreen, and be aware of symptoms of heat stroke or over exposure to the sun.
