Very poor weather conditions locally last night (16/12/2022) resulted in the team being called out by Forth Valley Police Division to assist in removing stranded motorists to the safety of a local village hall after hundreds of vehicles became stranded on the A85 between Killin and Crianlarich.

After several hours we reached every vehicle and everyone was taken to safety.

Our advice will be to avoid the area unless absolutely essential as there are likely to still be several abandoned vehicles as well as poor conditions on the road. There are still weather warnings in place so please take care.
