Killin MRT on way to Stuc a’ Chroin

On Friday 26th August the team were called out to Ben Ledi in response to a walker that was overdue and darkness was falling. The team began to mobilise and just as the first of our team members arrived, the walker arrived back to their car safe and well.

On Monday 29th August the team were again called out by Police Scotland to help a walker who had gotten in to trouble on Stuc a’ Chroin.

Luckily some experienced hill goers who were passing by were able to assist the person and help them safely into the hands of the team who escorted them down to their vehicle. We are delighted to say everyone is safe and well.

We are greatful for the assistance of our colleagues at Tayside Mountain Rescue Team who were also alerted to assist and remained on standby incase they were required.
